tammy reached out one week beforehand. “hey, could you take family photos for my daughter’s 12th birthday? specifically some ones of her? I know it’s last minute, but do you think you could make it work?”

for this amazing, hilarious, crazy family? my answer: of COURSE!

we quite literally sprinted around folsom lake, me acting just as wild as the pre-teens I was chasing, and had a blast the whole time. don’t let the tranquility in these photos fool you— I don’t think I have ever laughed more during a shoot in my life! (take a peek at the photos of the siblings tickling/punching each other after my prompt “okay, now look at each other and smile or laugh!”)
